Actually, the JSON from what I understand is _quite_ closely tied to the implementation. It is always "right". The problem is that the JSON is *too* closely tied. There is no separate implementation and ABI. The published "ABI" really is just an artifact of the implementation. It changes as the implementation changes, and that's not something the kernel can use in practice. Really "ABI" to TDX means something very different from what it means to the kernel.
