Hi all, Further to my mail[1] on 2021-02-26 (yes, over 4 years ago!) I've now switc= hed the LVFS to only build firmware into the metadata when the uploading ve= ndor has a vendor-id requirement added. If you've accidentally forgotten to tell me your vendor IDs, or if you need= additional vendor IDs added to your account please create a ticket[2] or e= mail me. If you notice a firmware has been demoted from stable back to emba= rgo today check in the "problems" tab for the firmware and check for a "Mis= sing OEM restriction" item. If you see that then please send me an email wi= th the output of "fwupdmgr get-devices --verbose" showing your device -- I'= m looking for something like USB:0x1234 or PCI:0x5678. I don't think this should affect many vendors (just 3 by my count) -- and I= don't feel too bad demoting these automatically as firmware without a vend= or ID isn't currently installable on any non-EOL fwupd version. Many thanks, Richard. [1] https://lore.kernel.org/lvfs-announce/CAD2FfiHmFXeqbXLZBiTF0xZmfV+Lo4zu= [email protected]/T/#u [2] https://gitlab.com/fwupd/lvfs-website/-/issues
