[Lvfs-announce] Public quotes about the LVFS

Hi all,

As most of you know the LVFS is in the process of moving to the Linux
Foundation. This means it will be managed by a professional team of
sys-admins, and also means we can use all the existing legal,
marketing and communications teams they have there. It really means I
can concentrate on making the LVFS better, and also talking to more
vendors about publishing firmware, rather than spending my time
keeping servers patched and certificates updated. It also means if I'm
asleep or on holiday and the server breaks, someone else can fix
things.

As part of the move to the Linux Foundation you might see the LVFS
subtly changing, for instance the font or color scheme might be
tweaked, and some logos might start appearing. The core functionality
of the LVFS will remain the same, and any less-than-cosmetic changes
will be announced here with lots of time.

The other reason I'm sending this email is to ask for anything that
can be quoted as part of the Linux Foundation announcement, for
instance:

"The LVFS allows us to ship firmware updates to Linux users easily,
which has boosted sales to this market segment -- Richard Hughes,
Hughski Limited"
