We are pleased to announce the public release Open Programmable Acceleratio=
n Engine (OPAE) 2.0.0 today.



The Open Programmable Acceleration Engine is a software framework for manag=
ing and accessing programmable accelerators (FPGAs).  OPAE is under active =
development to extend to more hardware platforms, as well as to build up th=
e software stack with additional abstractions to enable more software devel=
opers.



OPAE's goal is to accelerate FPGA adoption. It is a community effort to sim=
plify the development and deployment of FPGA applications, so we welcome di=
scussions and contributions! The OPAE SDK source, unless otherwise noted, i=
s released under a BSD 3-clause license.  OPAE driver source, unless otherw=
ise noted, is released under a GPL-2.0 license.
