Hi all, thank you looking into it. I think you are right, now with rc7 
is fan behavior more consistent, it may be caused by AMD platform 
patches or amd-pstate driver. I don't know where firmware checks 
temperature to trigger fan on so hard to check if temp is ok.

This message in dmesg appears because my laptop is not supported by the 
hp-wmi driver?

It is always there when switching power profiles.
