The merge window for the v23.05 release is now closed. The formal release w=
ill take place by 31st of May.

A new branch, v23.05.x, was created and the last patch on that branch is ta=
gged as v23.05-rc1.

Any critical fixes submitted to the master branch should be tagged with a 2=
3.05 hashtag. They will be backported to the v23.05.x branch.

Thanks
Konrad
