TAB nomination: Steven Rostedt

I am nominating myself to be considered for another term on the Linux
Foundation Technical Advisory Board.

I've been involved with the Linux kernel community for over two decades. My
contributions has been spread widely throughout the kernel, but most know
me for my tracing and real-time work. That work also requires knowledge of
the entire kernel as a whole, which gives me the opportunity to interact
with a wide range of subsystems within the Linux kernel. This interaction
helps me understand the diverse personalities that the Linux kernel
developers have.

There's lots of new challenges happening to the Linux kernel. One being
that of AI. Although, for now, it's mostly just another tool to help us
with our coding, but as it improves, it's going to be having a larger
effect on the kernel community. I would like to be a representative in the
decision making that happens in this topic. Ah conferences that I attend in
the future, I will have the opportunity to speak with many of you and be
able to collect your views and share them with the TAB.

At the start of last year, I worked on an effort to address kernel
maintainer burnout. I was able to get some of it started, but due to
unexpected events, I myself became overwhelmed and was not able to continue
it. I'm hoping to restart this work and I will be talking with folks at
Open Source Summit and Linux Plumbers in Japan for more on this.

Anyway, I would like to have another term as a TAB member and continue this
work.
