The current version of the page has “quarterly releases”, and Fiona’s remark on “stable releases" being redundant is spot on. I suggested “interim releases” because the term is in common use in the context of Ubuntu. I am not aware of a similar term in the context of the Linux kernel: they seem to use “LTS” as a subset of “stable”. > Did it make more sense to you to consider LTS as a subset of stable? Not really: I looked at the “stable” label as a somewhat ambiguous term, usually disambiguated by the context. It's just that I find a bit troubling the idea that LTS releases should not be considered “stable”.
