If I understand it correctly, we'll only need to do this for versions 4.1 and 4.2.0. If a fixed version is released, I'd just add MBEDTLS_VERSION_NUMBER < ...

Maybe we could do that preemptively so we don't forget later but I'm not sure if the fix will be in 4.2.1 or 4.3.0.
