[ath9k-devel] Spectral Scan malfunction (5GHz)

Hi all,

some unexpected results came up during experimentation with the Atheros 
Spectral Scan. Unlike with the 2.4GHz band, scanning the 5GHz band 
doesn't seem to expose correct results.

Here is a screenshot of the 2.4GHz band which depicts the correct 
capture of an experimental transmission.

Below is a screenshot which shows the 5GHz spectrum, in which the 
Spectral Scan is unable to capture the experimental transmission.

The transmission took place at 5240MHz (Channel 48).

Conversely the system seems to capture transmissions without any problem 
in the range of 5620-5680MHz (Channels 124-136).
Is there someone who has observed similar behavior using the Spectral Scan?
