If you follow my suggestions you might be able to do a ladder where
drm_parse_amd_vsdb_v3() calls drm_parse_amd_vsdb_v2() with those pieces
and that calls drm_parse_amd_vsdb_v1() and that calls
drm_parse_amd_vsdb_common() or similar.
