MRs created from previous [email protected] contributions

Hi team,

As you may have noticed, several MRs have been created in the new GRUB
repository [1] based on previous [email protected] contributions. The
intention is to bring that valuable work back into MRs and ideally merge as
much as possible.

For those that your name is on the MR list [2], please review the MRs
created on behalf of you, see if these are still relevant, either close
them or if valid, there are two options to do further modifications:


   -

   Create suggestions: gitlab has this one button when commenting on
   line(s) of code, and Pavel (he was the one that created all MRs) will
   accept any such suggestions (and squash all those)
   -

   Create a new MR; if this is the path, indicate the reason on the ticket
   and we can close it, and then open the new one


If your name is on the list but you have not yet registered to Freedesktop,
please check the instructions at [3].

Lastly, Pavel led all this work, and Marta and I reviewed it. Of course, if
you are the author, you have much more context than us, so I ask for your
attention if that is the case.
