BCM43ae pci-e card in Lenovo G50

Hi,
Any work being done to get this card functioning?  It comes up as 14e4:43ae rev. 02 and the id is not found in any information on the b43 pages.  Just wondering?would like to speed up this Slackware 14.2 laptop.
