As late at this is, I really would like to change the name here.  We
already have a powerpc command line option to disable this for those
chips, and we should use the same name here as well.  I talked a bit
about this with some powerpc people and they really want to disable this
option as well, much like is being done here, for lots of other,
non-security reasons.

So can we please go back to the generic name so that we have some
unification, making userspace stuff more uniform?
