Affected files ============== The file(s) affected by this issue are: drivers/net/wireless/mediatek/mt76/mt7996/mcu.c Mitigation ========== The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes. Individual changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel release. Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or supported by the Linux kernel community at all. If however, updating to the latest release is impossible, the individual changes to resolve this issue can be found at these commits: https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4fd85fd2373501b7386e93a5ce4a549d7c4e64e3 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8b8a079e22ce9fc3c0d05b148ef67e4c6e576678 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d14238523ca4c6f5fcb54d1920eb2f8525a7711f https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8bc7167e8a86489b7cb96a69cf1fb671d6df014b https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e858cf6bf99880343348ff1e8c942aaff1d9d592
