All: We're looking at using diald on RH6.2 and RH7.3 to manage dynamic dialup connections to multiple sites using a modem pool, and I need to know what limits the number of diald processes that may run. The SLIP driver reports a max of 256 devices. When diald starts it tries to hit tap0 through tap15 (this is before I set up modules.conf) What limits the number of diald daemons that may run? How many may run with the 1.0 / 1.01pre code?
