dosemu setup

I'm making some progress.
missing or bad interpreter command.com is last screen output.
A boot.log is below.
I tried copying command.com from the /usr/share/dosemu/bin directory into 
drive c:/
after having created an hdimage file in my home directory and adjusting 
line 19 in /etc/mtools.conf so it pointed at drive c:/ and the directory 
/home/jude/hdimage using the mcopy command it the copy failed.
I used the old-fashioned approach in the DOSEMU-HOWTO to create that 
hdimage file too.
