Hi, I found this error message in my boot log. I am using Suse Linux 9. Though the release is less than three months old am not sure if the kernel should be considered the same. Here is what the log says: <7>IO APIC #2...... <7>.... register #00: 02000000 <7>....... : physical APIC id: 02 <7>....... : Delivery Type: 0 <7>....... : LTS : 0 <7>.... register #01: 00178020 <7>....... : max redirection entries: 0017 <7>....... : PRQ implemented: 1 <7>....... : IO APIC version: 0020 <7>.... register #02: 00178020 <7>....... : arbitration: 00 <4>An unexpected IO-APIC was found. If this kernel release is less than <4>three months old please report this to [email protected] I suppose you can ignore this message if it was not relevant, do let me know if any further information will help. Regards, Piyush
