Hello,

today I unstalled Linux kernel 2.4.24pre3 vanilla on my SiS740 system
(Shuttle SS40G). I enabled the IO-APIC in the BIOS (Version 1.4) and booted the
newly compiled kernel. The IO-APIC gets used, but I get a warning messing
telling me to send an email to you. So please find below the dmesg output as well
