madwifi and smp

Madwifi does not work too good when running SMP, so I thought I'd take
a look at that. Without any specific information, do you think it is a
madwifi or SMP problem?

The best description of the problems I can give you is that iwconfig
can't find any wireless extentions on athX when SMP is running. This
is a known problem rather than a hardware incompabillity thing with 
my setup.
