Hi, I recently installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux in a bi-processor server which was running previously without problems under Red Hat 9. The new kernel detects only one processor, and when looking in the dmesg output I found a suggestion to send mail to this address. Can anyone provide some help? Here is the output of dmesg: Linux version 2.4.21-15.0.3.ELhugemem ([email protected]) (gcc version 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-37)) #1 SMP Tue Jun 29 17:49:15 EDT 2004 BIOS-provided physical RAM map: BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009f800 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000009f800 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000f0000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 0000000000100000 - 0000000080000000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 00000000fec00000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) 0MB HIGHMEM available. 2048MB LOWMEM available. found SMP MP-table at 000f52c0 hm, page 000f5000 reserved twice. hm, page 000f6000 reserved twice. hm, page 000f1000 reserved twice. hm, page 000f2000 reserved twice.
