These days, the kernel patches make some fixes of note and improve our ability to support T10PI. It would be good to sort out having them - you might get an unpleasant surprise without them - but it should basically work. -Patrick ________________________________ From: lustre-devel <[email protected]> on behalf of Else Someone <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2024 4:56 PM To: Mohr, Rick <[email protected]>; [email protected] <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [lustre-devel] [EXTERNAL] mke2fs supported features: dirdata [Some people who received this message don't often get email from [email protected]. I'll keep this note brief: my current progress is that I reproduced, for the most part, the 3-node KVM set-up from the wiki using declarative "nixos tests". I'm currently not applying `lustre/kernel_patches`, not sure what are the implications. Hope to follow up with public code soon.
