Hi Bapt, First of all thank you so much for your effort. I have for some time been looking at the changes that was done to mlmmj in order to match the needs for the FreeBSD project mailing lists One thing that I really missed in the FreeBSD version of mlmmj was the "from-munging" Here comes a story - I'll try to keep it short... I run a couple of internal mlmmj-based mailing lists I'm challenged with users that does not understand and/or respect mailing list defacto conventions - what to do and what not to do etc... They keep side-tracking the thread by only replying to some of the users - leaving out the list etc etc... it is a nightmare... :-/ What they do is not intended. Much of what they do is due to the different workings of various mailers (Reply, Reply All, Reply List etc)... Also they are sloppy - they do not take a look at the resulting receipient lists before pressing send. It really messes up mailing list threads if they are side-tracked from the list for some time (by accident) and then re-added after some iterations :-/ For that purpose I would really like to use from-munging Just displaying From: "Firstname Lastname via some-mailing-list-name"... Effectively supressing all other email adresses than the maillist address - and in that way keep the whole mailing list thread on the list... They would be better off with a forum system - but insist on the mailinglist approach... With that story in mind I would really like to see the "from-munging" in mlmmj Kind regards Uffe Jakobsen :-)
