[PATCH] dev-manual: use "trade-off" as the noun

As with "setup " versus "set up" and so on, "trade off" is used in the
verb form, and either of "trade-off" or (less commonly) "tradeoff" is
used as the noun.

This is the only instance throughout the docs that needed fixing.
