The documentation changes related to bitbake-setup merged, thanks to all
who have helped on these.

We are now no longer updating the poky master branch. The distro in
meta-yocto remains. Long live poky.

Toaster is now working with bitbake-setup, huge thanks to David Reyna
for resolving the issues there.

Upstream linux kernel end-of-life=E2=80=99d 6.16 but we can=E2=80=99t ge=
t 6.17 working
fully so we=E2=80=99ll be releasing with 6.16 and removing the 6.17 reci=
pes (merged
in error).

There are likely going to be breaking changes to the npm fetcher related
to ongoing security concerns but we are lacking patches.

We removed tcp-wrappers from OE-Core. It was late in but this should
have happened long ago and if anyone is using it, you probably shouldn=
=E2=80=99t be!
Ways to contribute:

As people are likely aware, the project has a number of components which
are either unmaintained, or have people with little to no time trying to
keep them alive. These components include: devtool, toaster, wic, oeqa,
autobuilder, CROPs containers, pseudo and more. Many have open bugs. Hel=
p
is welcome in trying to better look after these components!

There is an issue open upstream with the openssl project related to
making path relocation of openssl easier (as used in our buildtools tarb=
all
and SDK). We=E2=80=99d love assistance in moving this forward and gettin=
g some kind
of upstream feature merged to make this easier:

Regarding bugs, even if you can=E2=80=99t fix a bug, submitting a failin=

case that can reproduce the issue significantly improves the chances it
might get fixed.
