The Yocto Project is seeking an experienced, community-minded LTS
Maintainer to take over maintenance of its Long-Term Stable (LTS)
releases, beginning with the upcoming Yocto Project 6.0 LTS release in
April 2026.

This is a critical role that ensures long-term stability, security,
and support for the Yocto Project’s LTS branches. You’ll work closely
with the current maintainer during a transition phase and ultimately
own the process of delivering quarterly (or more frequent) point
releases.

technical skills and a passion for open source sustainability, we’d
