overflow problem

Running RH9 with stock perl and a application written by someone else
for automating backup to CDRs that I am wanting to use with DVDs. Am
having trouble with integer overflow specifically with file sizes
greater that can be stored in a 32 bit integer (filesize of DVD iso
image being 4.7GB). Is there a release of 64 bit perl that will run on
RH x86 so I can get around this problem?
