I need (I believe) 64bit perl to properly build the DBD::ORACLE mod
for use on Solaris 8 with 64bit Oracle installed... true?  If so
any guidance on the Configure options would be greatly appreciated...hate to watch all the messages too many more times..

and end with "ld: fatal: file C.o: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64"
