Apathetic and Lurkers

I am a lurker.  I am attempting to observe the overhaul of my personal =
favorite programming language.  When I was a kid I liked to hang out in =
a mechanics shop while the wrenches overhauled the various motors in the =
shop.  This was in the 60's and 70's when an overhaul usually meant =
bolting on high performance additions to the family car.  I'm here with =
the same childish curiosity.  I'm watching the activity.  Speaking as a =
37 year old kid it's fascinating.  I'm not apathetic about the rewrite, =
I just haven't seen anything yet that I really feel strongly about.  I'm =
sure that is to come.  At some point I would even like to help, but I =
haven't seen a place where I could make a positive contribution.  Just =
my $.02 worth.
