It's also used for PHP development (it gets to be annoying after awhile,
especially when you have 2 mb commits...), its done with a Perl script
(ironically enough).  There are also daily CVS diffs sent out (if you
subscribe to another list) keeping all the commits for the day in one
e-mail.
