"Trust is knowing exactly what someone will do."

Or, in this case, something.

The inability for Sysadmins to trust Perl6 will leave most of us clinging
to Perl5 for quite some time while we wait to see whether or not this new
thing will be an overengineered toy of the bored CS types or something
that will prove worthy of trust, more worthy than Perl5.

If SAs can't trust it, they won't install it and I would imagine a lot of
developers won't get to write production code in Perl6 if the SA declines
to install it on the grounds that it isn't stable or trustworthy or
doesn't have a sensible upgrade path.
