Re: Bug status suggestion

    Us bugmongers have been working through the database closing bugs,
fixing the simple ones, and have come up with a little issue I'd like
to ask your input and/or cooperation on.

    Would it be possible to send out a notice when a patch is
integrated (or accepted to be integrated) into the core?

    Possibly a new list would be appropriate (i.e. perl5-patches)
soley for patch acknowledgements.

    Some tiny patches (documentation ones especially) sometimes
disappear into the core without acknowledgement, which makes it
difficult to know if they have been accepted so we can close the
ticket.   

    What do you think?
