Older versions of CPAN modules

Good morning.

I'm running RHEL 3 on my workstation which is currently at PERL version
v5.8.0 built for x86_64-linux-thread-multi.  I need to install CPAN
module File::Basename but it complains about being built for PERL
version 5.8.6.  Is there a way to download an earlier version of this
module that will work with version 5.8.0?
