in one of your recent postings you complained that you have problems
with CPAN.pm on cygwin.

I believe I will need to release CPAN.pm 1.84 soonish. Could you
possibly try the latest in my CPAN directory (currently
ANDK/CPAN-1.83_62.tar.gz) and see if I have fixed your problems? I
would feel much better if this were the case, I'm not fond of getting
lots of identical problem reports after the release and I have no
windows box to test anything myself.
