mirror cpan site

Hello All,

On Solaris 8, I used CPAN::Mini and setup a local mirror on my server.
I changed the url in /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/CPAN/Config.pm to point
to ftp://local ip/CPAN/, but when i run cpan, it's not using my mirror,
i see its going out to ftp://ftp.perl.org/pub/
Am i missing something ?
