Downgrading from newer CPAN module?

Hello,

I have never had to do this before, but I need to downgrade a CPAN
module. I have found that the new module is causing glibc errors with
double linked lists, and I need to put it back to teh original version.
I tried to copy the pm and directory from the /usr/lib directory and
move back into place, but no luck.

Anyone have any ideas?
