The OP must have got a warning that the index file is stale. After 30
days this warning kicks in. It's not perfect but it's something.

I'm currently in code freeze mood so this will have to wait for the
next release cycle. The 1.88_* series does already have hosts
statistics. Try the 'hosts' command and set the config variable
'randomize_urllist'.
