history across sessions in CPANPLUS?

In both CPAN & CPANPLUS, while in a given session, I can traverse command history -- e.g., with 'up'/'down' keys -- at the session prompt. If I quit, then restart CPAN, that history is still resident & available. But, CPANPLUS seems to lose memory of prior sessions, simply populating a new history stack for the new session. *Is* there a way to have CPANPLUS 'remember' history across sessions? If so, how? Thanks! -- Ord'y
