Ah - that's the problem - you don't have the standard headers needed  
to compile the module.

On Ubuntu I believe you need to

$ sudo apt-get install libc6-dev

Alternately you could

$ sudo apt-get install build-essentials

which would get you libc6-dev and a bunch of other stuff you may or  
may not need :)
