Hi !

One way (i use this) is to edit the Config.pm of the CPAN module. This =
file contain all CPAN Configuration. On an Unix OS you should do=20
'find <perlInstallRep>/* -name Config.pm | grep CPAN' to find the file.

Another way should be to change these values by using CPAN::Backend. =
Have a look to 'perldoc CPAN' or here : =
http://search.cpan.org/~andk/CPAN-1.76/lib/CPAN.pm and look at =
Programmer's interface.

PS : if you use CPANPLUS (i advise it), it is in Beta, but works fine ! =
perldoc CPANPLUS::Backend for more infos.
