It sounds like you might be saying that the problem has improved because you only got one failure in last night's summary e-mail, but that's not what that means: CPAN Testers is about testing all of the code on CPAN. These tests aren't downloading your Git repository, they're downloading the code you uploaded to CPAN and running the tests inside. Testers don't run on a schedule, they run whenever the tester gets to it. Smoke testers also mostly do not re-run tests once they've already sent in a report. Also, people who try to install your module using the `cpan` client can send in test reports if they want. So, you're still receiving reports for the release you made, and CPAN Testers will send reports for that release until you make a new release (though, the longer since you made the release, the fewer test reports will be sent in, unless one of your dependencies makes a release). When you make a new release, CPAN Testers will test that release instead. So, basically, the problem is still there for the testers who reported problems. They're in the release, and the only way to fix it is to change your code and make a new release. Doug Bell [email protected]
