It's the interface, not you.

I just went to the "Find a Tester" page 
(http://stats.cpantesters.org/cgi-bin/cpanmail.cgi), entered the GUID 
for a CPANtesters report I generated today.  The response in the 
"Address" row was: "James E Keenan".  I.e., it was a name, not an email 
address.

It turns out that doing a DDG search for Gregor Herrmann quickly brought 
up that he is on the Debian Perl team.  Also see
