If you use the correct defaults-name, F<configsmoke.pl> will choose the right archive:

	-d smoke58x	ftp.linux.activestate.com::perl-5.8.x
	(no -d==blead)	ftp.linux.activestate.com::perl-current

Please do not use the ::perl-5.6.x archive.
