Cannot connect to Postgres database using DBD::Pg

Hi Guys,

 

I met a weird problem with activestate perl 5.8.8.819 and DBD::Pg. When
I try to connect to a postgres database using DBD::Pg, I got the window
popped out saying "Perl Command Line Interpreter has encountered a
problem and needs to close". But everything is OK when I use DBD::PgPP
with the same connection string. What is the problem?
