Thanks for the update; FWIW the new async connection stuff
(pg_async_connect flag in connect) is something I'm keen on. I've been
testing it locally and finding it works pretty well.   If there's anything
around that that you'd like me to test more I'd be happy to flog that or
any other part of the asynchronous stuff that you'd like tested.
