DBI::ProxyServer in multi-threaded mode

[I asked this on dbi-users over a week ago but got no reply.]

Is anyone using DBI::ProxyServer in multi-threaded mode?

I recall there were problems and I think they were traced to Storable
not being thread-safe. That's been fixed now so I thought I'd check if
it's being used okay.
