how to unset LANG DBI installation error

Hello,

I hope this email finds you well!

I am trying to install DBI for VEP use, and I keep encountering an error
about the LANG environment variable being set to 'C.UTF-8'.

How do I unset LANG? I have attached the build.log file below.

    I see you're using perl 5.032000 on x86_64-linux-thread-multi, okay.
    Remember to actually *read* the README file!
    Use  'make' to build the software (dmake or nmake on Windows).
    Then 'make test' to execute self tests.
    Then 'make install' to install the DBI and then delete this working
    directory before unpacking and building any DBD::* drivers.
