Verify Compatibility

Hi Sir/Madam,

We have 5 linux servers that run Perl scripts, DBI, DBD::mysql, and MySQL database server of the following versions.

-       Database version is either MySQL 5.0.66a-enterprise-gpl-log or MySQL 5.1.32-enterprise-gpl-advanced-log on a server.

-       On all 5 servers, Perl version is v5.8.8 built for x86_64-linux-thread-multi

-       On all 5 servers, DBI version is 1.52

-       On all 5 servers, DBD::mysql version is 3.0007

Are these versions compatible to each other?

We do not plan to upgrade MySQL servers now.  Do you see a need for us to upgrade any of the other 3 pieces so all them work well together?  Perl, DBI or DBD::mysql?
