Getting IBM's DB2 Perl interface to work with Windows 7

Hi, 

I'm trying to load IBM's DB2 Perl Database Interface for LUW on my brand new Dell desktop running Windows 7 Professional and ActiveState Perl but despite the easy instructions at http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=71&uid=swg21297335 every time I run the command "ppm install http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/PPMPackages/10xx/DBD-DB2.ppd" I get an error message saying "ppm install failed: The PPD does not provide code to install for this platform" which clearly isn't good. Does anyone have any idea if Windows 7 is supported by IBM's interface? I'd hate to find out my new O.S. isn't going to support my work...
