What you have posted simply appears to be warnings emitted by your=20
C-compiler when 'cpan' is running its 'make' phase.  Behind the scene,=20
what 'cpan' is doing (to over-simplify) is saying:

$ perl Makefile.PL
$ make
$ make test
$ make install

Those warnings are being emitted in the 2nd step above.  They are places=20
where the maintainers of DBI should be touching up the C-level code, but=20
they do not prevent DBI from building.  Did you see any strings with=20
'error:' in them being emitted during 'make'?  If 'make' completes=20
successfully, 'cpan' then invokes 'make test' and 'make install'.  Did=20
you get any test failures?
